VLD is a graded, credit-bearing course—not a free period or time for homework from another class.

the story in numbers.
I prefer understanding ideas and connecting them together instead of memorizing them. This site records my VLD journey through Finance & Quantitative Modeling for Analysts.

Why this journal exists
I learn by understanding and connecting concepts.
My goal is to build basic knowledge in quantitative finance and connect it to my future university studies and career. This space turns coursework into an active, honest record of that progress.
My advice to a Grade 10 student: feeling stressed is normal. Keep asking questions and take the work one step at a time.

Directed learning
with real accountability.
I choose a credible academic or wellbeing course, and my supervisor teacher approves it before enrollment.
I am graded on how well I direct my learning, not simply on how quickly I finish modules.
This website is my summative product. It stays current, safe, and accessible to my supervisor teacher.
Every session ends with a dated reflection. Honest, specific reflection carries the greatest weight.
